Dr. Greene, DVM
Dr. Melanie Greene was born and raised in Pikeville, Ky. She is an alum of the University of Kentucky and Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
She returned to the mountains along with her husband, Mark, in 1993 and has enjoyed practicing small animal medicine in eastern Kentucky for 33 years. She and her husband have raised 4 children and many pets on their family farm.
Dr. Greene has mentored many young veterinarians as well as vet tech and veterinary students and feels that animals always have lessons to teach us. She has a special interest in preventative care, surgery, dentistry and pain management and understands the bonds of love between our pets and their families.
